Our Live Comprehensive Orthodontics program is the series that made POS famous.  We have been teaching Orthodontics in this format since 1984, although the concepts and teaching material has steadily progressed since that point.  

The live series is a twelve seminar program, with each seminar consisting of 4 days (total of 48 days), covering orthodontics from the basics of orthodontic diagnosis through complex surgery cases.  In our Basic series, you will be learning all the concepts, studying cases, and doing hands-on in a live seminar format, with an instructor lecturing the material as well as teaching you the hands-on.  The basic live series is intended to cover roughly 90% of the cases that come through your door, with the remaining 10% (extreme surgical cases, etc) reserved for our advanced class.  

During the series, you are encouraged to be starting cases.  You are required to present 2 cases at graduation, however we highly recommend that you take on at least 20 cases during the series.  You will be able to start cases after Session 2, as by that point you have learned the basics of diagnosis as well as performed hands-on exercises on banding and bonding cases.  We encourage you to use our case diagnosis system, where you bring your records to be assisted in diagnoses by our experiences instructors to ensure success on the case, however this is an optional program (your first case materials and diagnosis are free).  By starting lots of cases, you will better retain the information you are learning, as well as start profiting for orthodontics immediately.  

The seminars are held on Friday - Monday over an 18 month period (1 seminar roughly every other month).  The seminars are designed with the intention that you are starting cases after Session 2, and we make sure to keep you a few months ahead of your cases with your learning.   By the end of the series, you should be finishing (or close to) your first cases, and thus will be well on your way to establishing orthodontics in your practice for years to come.  

As part of our lifetime free retake policy, you have the ability to retake any of our seminars anywhere in the world at any time for the rest of your career.  We regularly have a number of past graduates retaking seminars, trying to review all the information that is presented.  Our philosophy is to give you every resource to succeed, and part of this philosophy is giving you continuous opportunities to improve your knowledge, and thus your skills in the clinic.
