Many of you have taken implant courses, but are still lacking the confidence to place your first implant. Drs. Fernando Munguia and Vahik Meserkhani have developed an exciting opportunity for you to overcome your fears by placing an implant on a live patient with the oversight and assistance of an experienced instructor. In this three day session, you will be observing at least 8 live patient surgeries, with the instructors going into detail on each treatment plan as well as every stage of successful implant placement, and then assisting you and your classmates on the actual placement of the implant. We will have a maximum of 10 students in this class, with 8 student cases being done on a first come, first served basis, so sign up early to secure your space.

If you would like to place an implant on one of your patients, please submit your case records 1 month prior to the session, and the instructors will review the case, as well as do an initial diagnosis of the case. We have a limit of 8 cases that can be performed during this session, so the cases will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. The instructors will be thoroughly explaining the diagnosis, making sure you understand the case, and then assist you in placing the implant. We will provide the materials needed for each case. PreRequisite to perform live surgery: Must have taken the Progressive Dentistry Implant Surgery Series or a similar course to ensure that you have a basic understanding of implantology. You also must be a California licensed dentist with current valid insurance.
