Skeletal Anchorage is a modern and very accepted procedure in orthodontics which utilizes strategically placed anchors in bones to move teeth more effectively. Skeletal Anchorage is changing the possibilities in orthodontic treatment.

In the “Skeletal Anchorage,”  Dr. Don McGann presented case histories to illustrate just how powerful this tool is to your orthodontic diagnosis. Dr. McGann started placing orthodontic screws in 1998, years before orthodontic anchors hit the market, and will be able to show you when to useorthodontic anchors as well as inter maxillary fixation plates and screws to your advantage. With knowledge of Skeletal Anchorage, you will be able to treat many cases more effectively and even some cases that were impossible with just fixed appliances.
