Dr. Andrew Smith

Dr. Andrew M. Smith received his dental training at the prestigious Tufts School of Dental Medicine located in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Smith graduated in the spring of 2002. He received the "Dean Lonnie H. Norris Award for Achievement, Professionalism, and Strength of Character". After the completion of dental school, Dr. Smith completed a residency program in advanced education. During this year he treated patients with mental and physical disabilities. He also treated children and adults in the operating room.

Dr. Smith returned to his hometown of Murray to serve the people of Utah in a friendly, gentle and professional manner. Shortly after, Wasatch Gentle Dental was established in the fall of 2003.

Wasatch Gentle Dental is a provider for the following dental insurances: Delta Dental, DMBA (Deseret Mutual Benefit Administrators), MetLife, Cigna, Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield, Value Care Blue Cross Blue Shield, Dental Select Platinum, Dental Select Gold, Dental Select Silver, PEHP (Public Employees Health Program), CHIP's (Children's Health Insurance Program), Medicaid (age 15 and younger)

We also belong to the ADA (American Dental Association) and the Utah Dental Association.
