Implants & OrthodonticsA fusion of specialties to produce superior results

With our strong foundation in orthodontics, we have put together a very unique class that collaborates the two powerful specialties of orthodontics and implants. A proper understanding of both disciplines, as well as how the two interact, will give you new treatment options which will lead to superior results. Our new “Implants & Orthodontics” series is a compact and unique 9 day course designed to give you a thorough understanding of the connection between these two fields on both a theoretical and practical level.
- Session I will cover the basics of implant diagnosis and placement, giving you the proper foundation on how to treatment plan for implants, which implant to use, and how to place implants surgically.
- Session II will go thoroughly into the interaction between orthodontics and implants, showing how we can use orthodontics to increase and improve our implant options as well as how to use implants to speed up and increase treatment potential for orthodontics. A strong focus will be put on aesthetics, as you will find that unleashing the powers of both implants and orthodontics will greatly improve your patients’ appearances.
- Session III will focus on advanced implant procedures, including bone harvesting and sinus lifts.
Dr. Luis Segura-Mori and Dr. Bart Polder are two of the leading minds in orthodontics and implantology worldwide. They both perform both fields in their practice, and their understanding of both fields will be evident throughout the course. Whether you currently perform both fields or not, this course will greatly improve your treatment planning and thus lead to far superior results in your practice.
*No implant or orthodontic background needed. Dentists from all backgrounds can benefit from this education and may register. Even if you do not provide orthodontics or implants in your practice, you will learn how to treatment plan with both specialties and how to refer if you do not want to do the procedures yourself. Since you can choose to take the full series or individual sessions, you can tailor your education to your background and needs.
